About
A small desk for the consequences of AI.
AI is no longer a separate industry. It is a dependency inside cloud infrastructure, a new attack surface for defenders, and a design constraint for identity systems and policy.
How the desk works
INTSUM polls 24 public RSS and Atom feeds across five desks: AI & LLM, cloud, cybersecurity, biometrics, and technology policy. It deduplicates syndicated coverage, filters broad feeds down to high-signal stories, and tags each story for cross-source momentum.
- One lead per desk. The brief is balanced; the loudest security feed cannot take over the top of the email.
- Why it matters. Every story gets a short cross-desk implication, not just a summary.
- High-signal only. Consumer gadgets, space, and general business are excluded unless they carry a real technical or policy consequence.
- Attribution first. Headlines and excerpts link to the original publisher. We do not republish full articles.
- Source health. Feed latency and failures are visible in the app.
What we are not
INTSUM is not an AI research firehose, a stock-tipping service, or a general news site. It is a short, opinionated briefing for people who build and defend technology systems.
